Role snapshot
As a Facilities and Grounds Maintenance Technician with WECTEC Staffing Services (a Westinghouse Electric Company subsidiary), you’ll be part of an on-site crew in Bridgman, MI caring for both buildings and grounds and reporting to the Facilities Supervisor.
What you’ll handle
- Mow with hand, power, or riding equipment; trim and edge along walkways, beds, and walls.
- Plant and care for turf, flowers, shrubs, and trees; prune to improve health and appearance.
- Clear snow and ice from steps, roads, and sidewalks; rake leaves; pick up litter and debris.
- Conduct light equipment upkeep and basic groundskeeping tool maintenance.
- Perform minor building maintenance, painting, and plumbing (e.g., small framing/drywall tasks; repair toilets and urinals).
- Reconfigure spaces by moving office furniture and supplies.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid Driver's License required; Commercial Driver License (CDL) preferred but not required.
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Availability to work either day or night shift during winter months.
- Experience with maintenance, snow plowing, and lawn care is desired.
- Local to our client's site in Bridgman, MI.
- Frequently walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; communicate clearly; use hands to handle objects; reach with hands/arms; lift or move up to 75 lbs; possess close, peripheral, and depth vision.
Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing.
