The Opportunity
WECTEC Staffing/Westinghouse is hiring an on-site Electrical Field Operations Lead for the Palisades nuclear site in Covert, MI. This is a full-time, 6–12-month contract role reporting to the Palisades Site Manager.
What you’ll tackle
- Lead and coach electrical crews executing maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Own logistics and workforce planning while upholding safety and company policy.
- Partner with project teams to align deadlines with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Perform field inspections; verify code adherence and nuclear safety compliance.
- Document all work, inspections, and safety checks with precision.
What you bring
- Field-based electrical experience.
- Prior work inside nuclear or similarly regulated environments.
- Strength in crew leadership and real-time issue resolution.
- 5 years working with electrical systems, safety protocols, and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical docs.
- Preferred: journeyman electrician, OSHA training, nuclear site clearance.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
