Our primary business is buying and selling full truckloads of nationally branded and recognized grocery products. We work with our already established network of sources to procure items at exceptional prices, then pass these savings onto our customers.
Available Position:
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Account Manager to support our Account Managers. You will work with our existing customers and our network of sources on the day-to-day order and product work that keeps our business running smoothly.
This is a stable, long-term role with a consistent daily routine and predictable hours, ideal for someone who already knows the work and takes pride in doing it well.
This position is located at our Creve Coeur, MO office. This is NOT a remote position. Office hours are M-F, 8am-5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
· Creating sales and purchase order transactions
· Tracking inbound shipments
· Researching products using company and industry databases
· Entering available product for sale in the company system
· Assisting with special projects as requested
Experience:
Qualified candidates will be dependable, detail-oriented, and have the following:
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word)
· Strong communication skills with internal and external customers using phone, text, and email
· Familiarity with customer/sales software (CRM) a plus
· Strong attention to detail
· Skilled in accurate order entry
· Experience working independently and within a team
· Ability to “close-the-loop”
Previous experience in order entry, sales support, or a similar administrative role is required. Experience in the grocery or wholesale distribution industry is a plus.
