Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and service spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces regularly
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a spotless appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure readiness for guest needs
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to facilitate timely repairs
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by management
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, and buffing
- Familiarity with hotel or industrial cleaning procedures and standards
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and efficiency
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus
