Responsibilities
- Prepare banquet and event spaces by setting up tables, chairs, linens, and decorative elements according to event specifications
- Ensure all areas are clean, organized, and ready for guest arrival by performing thorough cleaning and floor care tasks
- Assist with the transportation and placement of furniture, equipment, and supplies needed for events
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by performing janitorial duties including trash removal, surface cleaning, and floor maintenance
- Collaborate with catering and event staff to ensure timely setup and breakdown of events
- Conduct routine inspections of the setup area to uphold safety standards and cleanliness protocols
- Support ongoing custodial activities to keep the venue pristine before, during, and after events
Requirements
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or hospitality environment preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning equipment is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks efficiently
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting event operations
- Experience in janitorial or custodial roles within hospitality or commercial settings is a plus
