Position Summary

Westhaven Golf Club is seeking friendly, dependable, and service-oriented individuals to join our Restaurant Operations team as a Part-Time Server in our new restaurant, Wicked Slice. This position plays a critical role in delivering a premier club experience by assisting members and guests with all aspects of dining services. This position is part-time, Monday thru Sunday, multiple shift opportunities during hours of operation 8AM-8PM. $8 per hour plus tips.

Essential Functions

• Provide warm, courteous greetings and exceptional service to all members and guests upon arrival and departure.
• Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests.
• Take Food & Beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Input orders into the point of sales system with attention to detail.
• Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff.
• Prepare drinks and/or serve wine.
• Serve food & beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentations and quality.
• Monitor and anticipate guest’s needs throughout the dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and dining area.
• Present checks to guests for signatures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid TIPS certification.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
• Able to stand, walk, and be physically active for extended periods.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

Preferred Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent or a minimum of two years of restaurant, private club, hotel and banquet experience.
• TABC Certified, Serve Safe Certified desirable.
