Job Description
We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented team members to help keep our resort spotless and welcoming. This role combines guest room cleaning, public area upkeep, and laundry operations to ensure every visitor enjoys a comfortable, memorable stay. Whether you’re preparing cabins, maintaining public spaces, or processing linens, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
As a International Resort Worker II (Rooms Division – Heart of House) You Will Be Responsible For:
Guest Room & Cabin Cleaning
- Greet guests, owners, and team members with a friendly and professional attitude
- Clean, sanitize, and organize assigned guest rooms to meet resort standards
- Use proper cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Replenish amenities and handle guest requests promptly
- Report any damages, maintenance needs, or safety concerns
- Protect guest privacy and follow confidentiality guidelines
Public Area Maintenance/Houseperson
- Clean and disinfect public restrooms; restock paper products and supplies
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain cleanliness of all public spaces
- Keep glass, mirrors, and surfaces spotless
- Empty trash and ashtrays throughout public areas
- Maintain offices in the lobby and sales areas
- Picks up trash from building corridors
- Keep carts, closets, and equipment in orderly fashion
- Take trash and linen to the proper places so that it is not in the owner or guests view
- Assist other departments or areas when and where needed
Laundry Operations
- Sort and organize incoming laundry by type
- Operate industrial laundry equipment including towel folders, sheet ironers, and other machinery
- Fold and process linens to meet daily productivity goals
- Identify and remove stained or damaged items from circulation
- Maintain pace and accuracy in a fast-moving environment
- Keep laundry area clean, organized, and safe
Housekeeping Runner
- Responds to guest calls for any additional services or products for a unit or room utilizing a device
- Ensures the delivery of all materials or supplies is completed within 20 minutes of call
- Documents all calls and communicates with management if necessary
- Responsible for delivering clean linen to buildings. Retrieving dirty linen from buildings and bringing to laundry
- Picks up trash from building corridors
- Deliver linen to closets, and pool towers to pool
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications

What You Will Bring:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be comfortable working in hot, humid, and noisy environments when in laundry facilities
- Be flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and customer service skills
- Be able to pass a drug screening, and prove eligibility to work in the U.S
- Previous housekeeping, laundry, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required—training provided
Physical Demands:
- Regular bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and stair climbing
- Prolonged standing and walking during shifts
- Handling and transporting heavy loads of linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment
- Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions
