This position available only to members of the AFSCME Council 93, Local 346
Position:Head Clerk
- Twelve (12) month position
- Hours: 35 per week
- Duties as assigned by the Building Principal or designee
- All correspondence, scheduling of appointments, screening telephone messages for principal.
- Correspondence for assistant principals if necessary.
- Payroll of teachers and paraprofessionals.
- Teacher attendance.
- Maintain records of School Choice students.
- Organization of free and reduced lunch applications.
- Arrange Awards Ceremony and Graduation program including diplomas.
- Arrange transportation for field trips.
- Collection of Handbook Cards.
- Typing of agenda and notes for School Council meetings.
- Distribution of ID cards.
- In-house coverage if no substitute or teacher goes home ill.
- Help in main office.
- Entering requisitions, paying purchase orders, and handling student activity accounts
- All general office duties.
- Any other duties assigned by the Principal or his/her designee.
Salary : $22 - $34
