About the Role
Westfair Home Services is a residential plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical and well pump company owned by a Master Plumber. We are hiring an experienced service plumber who can handle the full range of residential plumbing work, from a dripping faucet to a sewer line replacement. You will run your own calls, work directly with homeowners and be trusted to diagnose and fix the problem right the first time.
Experience in the following:
- Diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, low water pressure and no-hot-water calls
- Install, repair and replace tank and tankless water heaters
- Install and repair fixtures, toilets, faucets, disposals and kitchen and bath plumbing
- Clean, jet, repair and replace drain and sewer lines
- Repair and replace sump pumps and sewage ejector pumps
- Repipe homes and replace water lines (copper, PEX, PVC, cast iron)
- Install and repair gas lines
- Install and repair boilers and hydronic heating systems
- Rough-in and finish plumbing for bathroom and kitchen remodels
- Explain findings and options to homeowners and build estimates in ServiceTitan on a company iPad
- Keep all work code-compliant, safe and clean
Requirements
- 5 years of residential plumbing experience across service, repair and installation
- Able to troubleshoot and complete jobs independently, without a supervisor on site
- Working knowledge of NY and CT plumbing codes
- Proficient with pipe cutting, threading, soldering and press fittings
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Clear, professional communication with homeowners
- Comfortable using an iPad and field-service software (we will train you on ServiceTitan)
- Able to lift heavy equipment such as water heaters and pumps, and work in basements, crawl spaces and attics
Preferred
- Any Journeyman/Master plumbing license
- Well pump or water treatment experience
- ServiceTitan experience
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
