What are the responsibilities and job description for the Arts & Crafts Coordinator position at Westerwood?
Westerwood is seeking a part-time Arts & Crafts Coordinator to add to our exceptional team and community. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and implementing a variety of art and craft related activities (drawing, painting, ceramics, crafts, needlework, calligraphy, etc.) designed to encourage residents to participate in classes, workshops, or working autonomously, for creative expression, social interaction, recreation, and fulfillment.
Qualified candidates must enjoy working with the senior population and have creative abilities in a variety of arts and crafts related areas, with a strong background in drawing and painting. A Bachelor’s Degree in art or a related field is strongly preferred.
