Job Summary
We are seeking a seasonal, hands-on Campground Manager to help oversee daily operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. This is a customer-focused role perfect for someone who enjoys variety, working outdoors, and creating a welcoming environment for campers.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests, manage check-ins/check-outs, and handle phone/email inquiries
- Maintain the campground store and process sales
- Clean and reset park model rental cabins
- Clean and stock restrooms and public areas
- Monitor and maintain pool chemicals (training available)
- Be the primary on-site point of contact for guest needs during scheduled shifts and peak hours
- Assist with light groundskeeping and general upkeep
- Communicate with owners and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated and organized with the ability to multitask
- Friendly, positive attitude and ability to remain calm and professional with guests
- Comfortable with light cleaning, outdoor tasks, and interacting with guests
- Must be comfortable with light physical work, standing, walking, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of pool care and maintenance (or willingness to learn)
- Previous campground or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays during peak season
- Use campground software and basic computer systems for reservations, payments, and communication
