Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Independent Contractor Opportunity
Our growing outpatient practice is casually exploring the addition of a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to our team.
This role is ideal for a PMHNP who would like to begin part-time and gradually increase their schedule and patient panel as the practice grows.
Position Highlights
- 1099 independent contractor arrangement
- Part-time to start, with opportunity to increase clinical hours over time
- Established and growing patient volume
- Option to see patients in person, remotely, or through a combination of both
- Practice support includes billing, facility/office space, receptionist, medical assistant support, and EMR access
- Compensation may be structured as a per-patient rate or a negotiated percentage model after reaching an agreed-upon minimum monthly volume
Candidate Requirements
- Active PMHNP certification and appropriate state licensure
- Ability to obtain/maintain credentialing as required
- Contractor must provide their own computer and professional medical malpractice coverage
- Dual certification in family practice or primary care is a plus, as the clinic also serves some primary care patients
- Preference for a provider interested in participating in the practice’s esketamine program or comfortable identifying and referring appropriate patients to the program
Practice Overhead Contribution
The provider’s monthly contribution toward shared practice infrastructure can be negotiated. 3 month minimum requested to allow the practice to recoup credentialing and EMR onboarding costs.
We are seeking a collaborative, patient-centered clinician interested in building a flexible and sustainable, independent role within a growing practice. Compensation structure, schedule, scope, and onboarding details are open for discussion based on experience and anticipated patient volume.
Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
