Responsibilities Include
- Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
- Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Assisting in surgery
- Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography
- Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
- Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
- Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital
- Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
Schedule And Compensation
- Compensation: $17 - $19 per hour, for each hour worked
- This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and regular availability needed Monday-Friday, with 1 weekend shift required approximately every 5-6 weeks to care for hospitalized and boarding patients.

- 2 years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring
- Surgical assistance and aseptic technique
- Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement
- Radiology positioning and safety protocols
- Medication administration and accurate drug calculations
- Laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostic testing
