Elko Veterinary Clinic is looking for Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our team. Our busy, full-service mixed animal practice is seeking dedicated team members who are looking to utilize their skills and knowledge. Full-time or Part-time shifts available.

The practice has grown from a single veterinarian mobile practice to the six veterinarians bustling mixed animal practice that it is today. New LVT Graduates Encouraged to Apply!
- Salary: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.
- Schedule: Full-time, Four 10-hour shifts per week. Primarily weekdays with rotating weekend support. Part-time, flexible scheduling, including weekend coverage.
- On-Call: After hours, rotating, on-call scheduling required.

- Added Benefits: Continuing education allowance (Up to $1000 annually), license reimbursement, scrub allowance, relocation assistance for qualified applicants

Who You Are:
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in Nevada, or eligible to transfer/acquire state license within 3 months of hire
- 2 years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant preferred
- Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Passion for working with large and small animals, birds, exotics, and their owners
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint for a variety of species
- Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital or ranch setting
- Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
- Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
- Dental procedure experience, scaling, polishing, extractions, suturing
- Skilled in IV Catheter placement, urinary catheter placement, applying casts, bandages and splints
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre-operative and post-operative care
- Laboratory skills including cytology set-up and interpretation
- Diagnostic experience including digital radiology, dental radiology, and ultrasound-guided cystocentesis
- And all other duties of a Licensed Veterinary Technician as allowable by law
