Veterinary Technician

Mountain View Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team!

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, outgoing technician who wants to fully utilize their experience while building meaningful connections with clients and their pets.

In This Role, You Will

• Provide high-quality patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
• Maintain efficient exam room workflow while delivering exceptional client communication.
• Review treatment plans, provide clear discharge instructions, and answer client questions with empathy and confidence.
• Support veterinarians during outpatient visits by carrying out medical orders and ensuring the highest standard of patient care.
  
  

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented technician who is passionate about patient care, values client relationships, and thrives in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus package: $500-$2,000 based on experience and licensure

Minimum Qualifications And Skill Set

• 3 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Client communication
• Anesthesia induction and monitoring
• Dental prophy and radiographs
• IVC placement
• Blood draws
• Outpatient care
