Santa Rosa Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team!
In this role, you will support both our medical team and front desk operations. On the clinical side, you’ll be hands-on with appointments and anesthetic procedures, including collecting and processing lab samples, administering medications, assisting with patient prep and recovery, and setting up and breaking down the operating room.
In addition to your technical responsibilities, you’ll help create a welcoming and efficient client experience by supporting the front desk with scheduling, managing phone and email communications, processing payments, and providing accurate information about our services.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about both patient care and client service. You’ll have the opportunity to utilize your technical skills while also building strong relationships with pet owners, all within a collaborative and supportive team.
Schedule
This is a flexible full-time position expected to be scheduled for 30-40 hours per week Monday through Friday.

We are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound, an extensive in-house laboratory, and a modern surgical suite.

- Compensation: $20-23 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $500 for those with 3 years of consecutive, current VA experience
