Los Gatos Dog & Cat Hospital is growing and we are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to help support our surgery schedule! In This Role, You Will
- Provide exceptional patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental prophy, radiographs and extractions.
- Ensure an efficient surgical and procedural workflow, anticipating the needs of the veterinary team and patients.
- Communicate with clients to review treatment plans, answer questions, and provide discharge instructions with empathy and clarity.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a 4/10 schedule and availability required on Saturdays. Shifts are typically scheduled from 8am-6pm.
Full-time benefits and compensation**:
- Compensation: $32-36 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $2000
- CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

- 3 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Current Registered Veterinary Technician License in the state of California
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Venipuncture and cystocentesis
- Placing IV catheters and administering injections
- Anesthetic monitoring
- Dental prophy and radiographs
- In house lab processing and microscopy
