Animal Clinic East is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team and provide dedicated support for surgery, anesthesia, and dental procedures.

Animal Clinic East is a full-service hospital that offers routine medical care, emergency surgery, orthopedic surgery, dentistry, and grooming services to Walla Walla pets. We prioritize preventative care and are well equipped with digital radiology, an in-house lab, ultrasound, laser therapy, and a long-term, highly skilled support staff (including multiple LVTs)! Our eight-doctor team primarily sees small animals and pocket pets; however, we also treat avian and wildlife patients on occasion. We promote a strong culture, where everyone enjoys each other’s company, and our hospital feels like a home away from home.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Coordinating surgical and dental procedure schedules
- Calculating and preparing anesthetic medications and drug dosages
- Inducing, monitoring, and recovering anesthesia patients
- Assisting veterinarians during surgical procedures
- Performing dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
- Monitoring patient recovery and ongoing procedural care
- Guiding clients through patient admission and discharge with confidence and compassion
- Compensation: $25-27 per hour, for each hour worked
- This is a full-time position, with a 5/8 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday. Rotating Saturday on- call shifts with $50 hourly rate when called in.
- Bonus package: $2000 based on active, good-standing veterinary technician credentials in the state of Washington
