Animal Care Center of Carters Creek is seeking an experienced Lead Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician!

Our technical team plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding client service. As Lead Veterinary Technician, you will provide guidance and oversight to our team of Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants, while continuing to perform hands-on technical duties.
Leadership Responsibilities Include
Schedule: This is a flexible full-time position, with availability needed Monday - Saturday with the Saturday shifts rotating every other weekend

Our hospital offers a full range of services including preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and advanced medical treatments, allowing our team to practice high-quality medicine while continuing to grow their skills and experience. To support this level of care, our facility is equipped with modern veterinary technology including digital X-ray, ultrasound, therapeutic laser therapy, and in-house laboratory equipment (Abaxis / Zoetis) to help provide efficient diagnostics and treatment for our patients. As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are also adding digital dental radiography, allowing our medical team to further enhance the level of dental care we provide.

- Delegating tasks to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care.
- Monitoring daily operations to maintain safety and uphold medical standards.
- Providing training, mentorship, and ongoing support to help team members grow and succeed.
Schedule: This is a flexible full-time position, with availability needed Monday - Saturday with the Saturday shifts rotating every other weekend
Full-time benefits and compensation**:
- Compensation: $22-26 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $2000
- CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Tennessee
- Anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs
- IV catheter placement
- Microscope evaluation
- IV and IM injections
- Ultrasound-guided cystocentesis
- EzyVet experience is a plus
