The Eye Vets is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (LVMT) with strong anesthesia skills to join our ophthalmology specialty team. The ideal candidate is confident in monitoring geriatric and medically complex patients and is passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
Our patients include both companion animals and exotics. While experience with exotic animal anesthesia is a plus, it is not a requirement.

What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician, active TN license is required.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia protocols, monitoring, and patient recovery
- Confidence in handling and monitoring geriatric or high-risk patients

Schedule:
- Business hours: Monday - Friday from 8:00 to 5:00.
- Scheduled hours: 4 shifts per week from 7-6
- Closed for major holidays.

Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- May be exposed to unpleasant odors, noises, bites, scratches, and contagious diseases.
- Take physical safety precautions for exposure to drugs, anesthesia and fractious pets.
- Physical activities include bending, standing, stooping, kneeling and sitting. May be required to walk or stand for long periods of time. Will use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel. Will reach with hands and arms.
