What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Assistant position at Western Veterinary Partners?
MAC Animal Hospital is seeking a Kennel Assistant to join our team! Our kennel team is dedicated to the care and comfort of our patients while providing critical support to the veterinary team.
In this role, you will focus on patient husbandry and care, as well as general housekeeping duties throughout the hospital. You will provide meals and walks for boarding patients, administer medications, and monitor for any medical or behavioral concerns while providing detailed documentation of your observations. You will also ensure kennels, common spaces, and treatment areas are properly sanitized and well stocked with supplies.
This position is ideal for individuals who are self-driven, detail-oriented, enjoy cleaning and organization, and are committed to contributing to a team-focused environment.
Schedule
This is a flexible full-time or part-time position. Availability is needed Monday-Saturday, including 3 full days, 2 half days, and 2 Saturdays per month.

With our recent expansion from a 4-doctor to a 5-doctor team, we are excited to add additional veterinary support staff to help support our continued growth.
