Cohutta Animal Clinic is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

Cohutta Animal Clinic is a well-established, full-service veterinary hospital proudly serving the Blue Ridge community. We are a 6-doctor practice with a collaborative, team-focused culture where our receptionists play an important role in creating an exceptional client experience and helping the front desk run smoothly.
Our hospital is equipped with modern technology, including digital X-ray, digital dental radiography, laser therapy, and an in-house IDEXX laboratory, allowing our team to provide efficient, thorough, and advanced veterinary care.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinary receptionist who enjoys building relationships with clients, providing outstanding customer service, staying organized in a fast-paced environment, and working closely with a supportive veterinary team—all while enjoying a schedule with no weekend shifts.

- Compensation: $15–$18 per hour
- This is a flexible, full-time position with a 4/10 schedule, requiring availability Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. No weekends!

- 1 years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
- Previous veterinary receptionist experience required
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Ability to manage a multi-line phone system while assisting in-person clients
- Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Pulse, preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
- Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented during busy periods
