Your New Role
As a Sandblaster based in Salem, OR, you’ll be hands-on in preparing steel parts and structures for coating, paint, or assembly, playing a key role in our production workflow.
- Operate sandblast equipment in a dusty environment while wearing full PPE
- Follow directions from leads or managers while working independently when needed
- Work productively and safely as part of a team in a fast-paced yard
- Move and position large steel parts using a forklift on uneven surfaces
- Read and follow basic blueprints and production instructions
- Maintain attention to detail to ensure consistent blasting results
- Support overall shop productivity by jumping into tasks where needed
- Take initiative to get work done efficiently and safely
- Assist with painting or powder coating when needed (a plus if you have prior experience)

Job requirements
- Experience working in a dusty or industrial environment
- Ability to wear full PPE and work safely for extended periods
- Team mindset with strong communication skills
- Able to follow instructions while also taking initiative
- Understanding of the sandblast process; hands-on experience is a major plus
- Basic print reading skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable lifting 50–75 lbs regularly with proper technique
- Able to drive a forklift safely in a yard environment (training provided if needed)
- Good work ethic and desire to complete tasks on time
- Painting or powder coating experience is a plus
