Position is located in Boise, ID and requires employee physical attendance.
Job Description:
Western Trailers is seeking Assembly Technicians. Must possess the desire and ability to assemble flat beds & panel trailers, to include but not limited to: basic electrical, basic plumbing, basic flooring, etc.
Responsibilities:
· Experience in the use of variety of hand tools
· Knowledge of basic of measuring tools e.g. tape measure, and have basic math skills.
· Ability to listen, comprehend and follow technical instructions
· Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
· Maintain a safe and friendly work environment
· Required to pass skill test
Requirements / Qualifications:
· HS Diploma or GED equivalency
· Desirable general mechanical / manufacturing experience
· Must meet attendance, be punctual & dependable
· Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Working well as a team member, or independently
· Able to read & speak English
· Be able to stand on feet for most of the day
· Dependable transportation
· Previous experience a plus
Physical Demands
Physical exertion required. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, pushing, twisting, kneeling, bend and move about the facility. Regularly required to lift and move equipment and components weighing up to 50 lbs.
