Western Trailers is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our Sawtooth team in Boise, Idaho. This position involves delivering new and used trailers throughout the western United States and occasionally across the continental U.S.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally, and values safety and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Deliver new and used trailers throughout the western United States
- Transport stacked, single, double, or triple trailers
- Perform pre-trip inspections on tractors and trailers
- Ensure loads are properly secured
- Pick up and deliver trailers to customer locations
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain professional communication with customers and coworkers
Compensation
- $.45 per mile
- $19.90/hour for local transports
- $100 wash out per trailer
- $25 tarp / $25 un-tarp
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License
- Doubles and triples endorsement required
- Valid Medical Card
- Minimum 1 year DOT driving experience preferred
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass DOT drug screen and background check
- Ability to operate various truck models and transmissions
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs when needed
