The Project Manager leads the planning and execution of technology, facilities, and operational efficiency projects that enable Western’s operational growth. This role coordinates cross-department efforts across IT, facilities, operations, and vendor partners - ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and ready for go-live or adoption. The Project Manager brings structure, discipline, communication, and accountability to complex initiatives without unnecessary bureaucracy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Execution & Delivery
- Plan and manage multiple concurrent projects (technology, construction, operational efficiency).
- Develop clear timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and ownership across workstreams.
- Maintain project trackers, meeting notes, and readiness checklists in shared tracking tools.
- Lead project meetings and monthly sponsor reviews.
- Identify and mitigate risks early; escalate when needed.
Technology Initiatives
- Manage technology and systems projects that span multiple departments (e.g. new systems, conversions, major enhancements)
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors; ensure deliverables meet business requirements.
Branch Construction & Facilities
- Serve as overall project manager for new branches, remodels, and relocations.
- Coordinate between facilities, IT, operations, marketing, compliance, and external vendors.
- Track construction progress, IT installs, signage, furniture, and regulatory readiness.
- Lead go/no-go readiness reviews prior to opening.
Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement
- Lead cross-department initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce costs, comply with regulation, or enhance the employee or customer experience.
- Facilitate process mapping, documentation, and workflow redesign sessions.
- Partner with business leaders to translate process gaps into actionable project plans.
Communication & Reporting
- Maintain visibility through simple, consistent status reports and dashboards.
- Highlight emerging risks, action items, and key deliverables.
- Facilitate decision-making with clear options and impacts.
- Document key decisions.

- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Underwriting, Collections, Documentation and Accounting to ensure swift and effective resolution of customer issues.
- Serve as a point of contact for investor partners, communicating transfer of service and accounting figures.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, with 5 or more years of direct project management experience, including proficiency in project management software. PMI certification preferred but not required.
This is a full-time position (in office) with benefits; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Monday – Friday.
