What You’ll Do
No two days in HR are exactly the same and that’s part of what makes this role exciting. You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Build trusted relationships with leaders and team members and serve as a go-to partner for HR guidance and support.
- Coach leaders through team member relations, performance management, development, and those sometimes-difficult conversations that come with leading a team.
- Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, talent development, succession planning, and team member engagement.
- Help identify talent needs and work alongside recruiting and compensation to find solutions that support our teams and the business.
- Listen and learn from team member feedback, HR data, and business trends to identify opportunities and recommend meaningful action.
- Support teams through growth and change with open, thoughtful, and frequent communication.
- Help ensure our HR practices are consistent, fair, and aligned with Western’s policies, values, and employment requirements.
- Look for opportunities to improve the team member experience and when something isn’t working, help make it right.
