About the Role:
The Registered Investment Sales Assistant supports Western State Bank Financial Advisors by providing exceptional administrative, client service, and operational support within the Investment Services department. This position ensures an outstanding customer experience by assisting with account servicing, compliance requirements, marketing efforts, and advisor support functions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in investment services, advisory support, or financial services operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active FINRA licenses (Series 6, 63, and/or 7) preferred or required depending on business line.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary client contact for routine and moderately complex inquiries, resolving issues independently and escalating when appropriate.
- Support Financial Advisors by coordinating client requests, preparing documentation, and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Deliver a professional, responsive client experience aligned with service standards.
- Prepare, review, and process new account documentation, account updates, and maintenance requests.
- Research and resolve account discrepancies, settlements, ownership changes, and service issues.
- Ensure all client communications and materials adhere to regulatory, firm, and risk management standards.
- Produce management and advisor reporting as required.
- Support internal audits, reviews, and compliance requests as needed.
- Prepare portfolio and reporting packages using approved materials and templates.
