Position Overview
A signatory contractor is seeking an experienced Union Commercial Roofing Foreman. This position is responsible for supervising union roofing crews, coordinating daily job site activities, maintaining productivity, enforcing safety requirements, and ensuring all work meets union standards, manufacturer specifications, and project requirements. This position is represented by Roofers & Waterproofers Local 69. Any membership requirements after hire follow the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Western offers a competitive wage. We provide medical, dental and vision insurance with the company paying over 80% of the premium. A $10,000 Life insurance and $10,000 Accidental death and dismemberment benefit is provided and is 100% company-paid. Generous 401k plan. Must work at a minimum of 30 hours per week to be eligible for benefits after 90 days of employment.
Compensation for this role is determined using a variety of factors, including experience, skills, internal equity, market benchmarks, and the cost of labor in the different geographic locations where we operate. In addition to base pay, this position may also be eligible for:Beneficial ownership in the Company through Western's Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).A comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, maternity leave, and additional benefits designed to support employees and their families.
US Pay Range: $35 USD - $42 USD

Position Overview
A signatory contractor is seeking an experienced Union Commercial Roofing Foreman. This position is responsible for supervising union roofing crews, coordinating daily job site activities, maintaining productivity, enforcing safety requirements, and ensuring all work meets union standards, manufacturer specifications, and project requirements. This position is represented by Roofers & Waterproofers Local 69. Any membership requirements after hire follow the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead union commercial roofing crews on active job sites
- Coordinate daily work assignments in accordance with Local 69 work rules
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders
- Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with manufacturer specifications
- Enforce OSHA regulations and Local 69 safety standards
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and manage production goals
- Train, guide, and support apprentices and crew members
- Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors
- Track labor hours, materials, and job progress
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times
- Minimum 3–5 years of commercial roofing experience
- Experience with TPO, EPDM, PVC
- Previous foreman or crew leadership experience preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of commercial roofing systems and installation methods
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
- Experience managing larger commercial or industrial projects
- Ability to complete daily reports and job documentation
