Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Caregiver at Western Slope in Home Care. This is a full-time, hourly position within the healthcare/medical field located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing quality care and assistance to our clients in their homes, allowing them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a Part-Time Flexibility, hourly position with a competitive compensation of $17.00- $20.00 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan options.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services to clients, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with household tasks, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow care plans and document any changes or concerns in client's condition
- Administer medication and assist with medication management as directed by medical professionals
- Transport clients to and from appointments and errands as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a caregiver or similar role Not required
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
