Position Details
- Full-Time
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week (CSR/Tech assignments dependent on hospital need)
- Monday through Friday
- No evenings or weekends
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, patient care, diagnostics, and client communication.
- Help maintain appointment efficiency and uphold hospital standards.
- Utilize strong technical skills to provide exceptional patient care in a busy clinical setting.
- Use strong communication and organizational skills to answer phone calls, emails, and text messages.
- Schedule appointments, accurately document messages and maintain patient and client records.
Qualifications
- Clinical veterinary assistant skills with experience in restraint, phlebotomy, laboratory procedures, client education, radiography, and patient nursing.
- Experience with:
- ezyVet Practice Management Software
- IDEXX in-house diagnostics
- Cornerstone Practice Management Software is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to motivate and support fellow team members.
