What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Access Representative, UroGyn/Fairlawn (Part-time; 8am-4:30pm) position at Western Reserve Hospital Physicians, Inc?
Serves as initial contact for UroGyn Department, is responsible for registering and pre-registering patients, verifying insurance coverage and eligibility at time of registration, verifies patient demographics and accurately inputs this information in the registration application. Performs point of service activities, collecting copayments and self-pay payments.
Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours per week, 8am-4:30pm
Location: Fairlawn, Ohio
Experience
Required- One (1) to two (2) years of Customer Service experience is required. Experience in a hospital or medical office setting is preferred.
Education
Required- HS Diploma or Equivalent or better
