Western is seeking an Accountant to support the Division Controller to produce timely and accurate reports, work with the general ledger for our field operations, and provide insightful financial advice to help Rollins, Inc.’s Specialty Brands achieve their operating and financial plans.  The Accountant will ensure the financial integrity of proper accounting and reports, prepare and deliver recurring reconciliations, financial reports, and periodic ad hoc analysis.

The Accountant II will be responsible for:

• Providing operational accounting support to management
• Performing monthly bank account reconciliations including various electronic payments (credit cards, ACHs)
• Accurately preparing and processing revenue and deferred revenue journal entries, during month end close 
• Completing various general ledger account reconciliations
• Researching and resolving any general ledger discrepancies
• Accurately preparing and processing various journal entries during month end close
• Assisting with the preparation and distribution of monthly reporting packages to management
• Suggesting process improvements and system enhancements that will increase efficiencies and/or mitigate risk to the organization
• Special projects and support functions as assigned by the Division Controller

It is vital that this person have excellent/exceptional Microsoft Excel expertise to perform quality work within the general ledger, maintain accurate P&L, and serve as a contact for field management.  The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and detail-oriented person that is ready for more responsibility.  This opportunity will be based of our newly renovated Parsippany, NJ HQ.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting

• 4 years related experience

Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
