Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our team. This role requires close collaboration with accounting, operations, purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure accurate financial processes, reporting, and daily accounting operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting records
- Manage invoicing, payments, and collections tracking
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Support budgeting, tax preparation, and regulatory compliance processes
- Assist with general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation
- Support tax processes in coordination with the CPA
- Work with QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Analyze financial data and help improve accounting accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support smooth financial operations
Qualifications
- Accounting experience required
- U.S. accounting knowledge preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks required
- Strong Excel skills required
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance
- Experience with budgeting, tax preparation, compliance, and account reconciliation
- Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, ERP systems, or similar platforms
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- English required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of the food industry or distribution business is a plus
- CPA certification or pursuit of CPA certification is a plus
