We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring efficient warehouse operations by handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and supporting shipping and receiving processes. This position offers an energetic environment where your skills in warehouse distribution and equipment operation will help keep our supply chain moving smoothly.
Starting Pay: $18.00
Shift: Monday through Friday: 1000 – 1800

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability or willingness to learn lot porting semi with 53’ trailers.
- Identify and sort different types of incoming freight and knowledge of proper locations
- Load and unload freight on trailers using a motorized forklift, pallet jack or manually WPL guidelines. Use various loading techniques, such as loading or cross docking
- Hand load, rewrap or stack freight as necessary
- Secure freight inside trucks, trailers, and warehouse staging
- Ensure a safe productive work environment and housekeeping
- Responsible for observing and following all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
- Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds

Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices is essential.
- Experience operating forklifts is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
