What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver - CONTRACTOR position at Western Peaks Logistics?
WPL is a successful logistics company located in Salt Lake City. We are looking for Independent Delivery Service Partners (contract drivers) in the Helena, MT area to join our expanding team!
You MUST own or lease your own delivery vehicle / mini-van.
This is a 1099 position (self-employed)
Pay: $250-$300 per day
REQUIREMENTS:
Must provide:
- Own vehicle
- Fuel
- Insurance
- Cell Phone
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Driver Load/Unload
- Distributing packages for institutions, business, and government agencies
- Lifting freight in and out of vehicle for deliveries
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and placing freight for delivery (up to 50 lbs)
- Maintain route / delivery expectations and standards
- Communicate with customers, dispatch, and management
Skills:
- Delivery Driving Experience – 1 year Preferred
