Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare patients for X-Ray examinations and other diagnostic tests.
- Perform basic life support as needed in emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical coding.
- Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling medical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety protocols within the hospital setting.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Skills
- Proficiency in taking vital signs and performing basic life support techniques.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
