General Summary
The individual for the position will be required to teach seven sections of BUS1750 per academic year. The individual will also provide expanded advising hours for students and support advising and mentorship activities with the Business Learning Community.
Major Duties
- Teach four sections of BUS1750 in fall term and three sections in the spring term.
- Provide expanded advising hours for students. This advising will address both curricular and career advising.
- Assist the BUS 1750 Course Coordinator and Course Facilitator in the administration of the course as needed.
- Provide coverage for a class if another instructor cannot attend class.
- Help to recruit new instructors as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business or management from an accredited institution by the Higher Learning Commission.
- 1 year (2 semesters or more) of undergrad teaching experience in an introduction to business course at an AACSB accredited business school.
- 10 years of business experience that demonstrates the applicant executed tasks with significant responsibility.
