Duties

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
• Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
• Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure efficiency and longevity.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems related to refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration systems, plumbing, and mechanical components.
• Use hand tools and specialized equipment to perform repairs or installations safely and efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with customers about system issues, repair procedures, and maintenance recommendations to ensure excellent customer service.

Skills

• Proven construction experience with HVAC system installation and mechanical systems repair.
• 2 years service technician experience with HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of schematics, electrical diagnostics, building automation systems, and HVAC design principles.
• Mechanical knowledge of boilers, chillers, air conditioning units, and other HVAC equipment.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic devices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism.
• Experience working as a field service technician with a focus on HVAC system maintenance and repairs.
• Valid driver’s license for safe transportation between job sites.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
