RRESPONSIBILITIES

This position has responsibility for implementing programs, events and

objectives and providing services related to career preparation and

employer engagement.

A Career Coordinator Typically

• Assist student/alumni with career planning, including (but not
  
  

limited to) resume construction, interviewing skills, job search

strategies

• Coordinate outreach career programming and fairs to student groups
  
  

and academic departments

• Instruct course related to department
• Train and mentor graduate assistants and practicum students
• Assist with marketing and promotions including (but not limited to)
  
  

social media and outreach materials

• Coordinate events and programming
• Present to students, guest, and alumni
• Assist with development and oversight on online platform
  
  

WORK LOCATION: Macomb campus

APPOINTMENT: As soon as possible

MONTHLY WAGE: \$3,206 - \$3,527 (anticipated starting salary \$3,206)

Job Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree
• One (1) year of experience in student development, event planning,
  
  

and/or continuing education

program; if so, the degree must be conferred at the time of appointment.
