Madrid Home, part of Western Home Communities, is pleased to welcome applications for a dependable and motivated Dishwasher to join our dietary services team in Madrid, Iowa.
In this role, you will support daily meal operations by maintaining clean, sanitary, organized kitchen and dining service areas, following all food safety standards, and contributing to a positive experience for the residents we serve.
This position offers an excellent entry point for students or individuals considering careers in healthcare, hospitality, or nutrition services.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas, equipment, dishware, and utensils
- Maintain organized storage and rotation of dinnerware and food service tools
- Wash pots, pans, trays, and other cookware manually and/or using equipment
- Safely remove trash and food waste to designated disposal areas
- Uphold all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Engage in positive, respectful interactions with residents and staff when needed
- Contribute to a team environment that reflects our mission and values
What You'll Need
Minimum and preferred qualifications:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Demonstrated dependability and time management
- A team-oriented and productive work ethic
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Customer service experience preferred
