Terramac is looking for a Heavy Equipment Production Technician at our Sugar Grove, IL location. The Production Technician supports the inspection, upfit, maintenance, repair, and shipment of new and used Terramac crawler carriers and carried equipment.
What You’ll Do:
- Support completion of Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI’s) on new Terramac Crawler Carriers.
- Support the upfit of new & used carriers with factory, custom, and aftermarket OEM attachments
- Assist in the rework or repair of new and used carriers.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on in-stock carriers.
- Prepare new and used carriers for shop work or shipment to dealers and end-users.
- Drive the carriers to assist in final performance checks, testing, and organization of inventory in the yard.
- Help organize and manage finished goods inventory in the yard.
- Assist in the completion of PDI documentation and quality incident records.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of crawler carriers onto and off of heavy equipment trailers.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and work-friendly shop environment.
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must provide own hand tools and toolbox.
- 1-3 years of relevant production or assembly experience.

- Relevant trade or technical school certificate or diploma a plus.
