West-Con is seeking seasonal CDL truck drivers. The wage range is between $22.00 and $28.00 per hour, depending on previous experience. Drivers can be based out of either Holloway MN, Appleton MN or Twin Brooks, and both part-time and full-time positions are available. The job involves local hauling from farms and elevators, allowing drivers to be home every night. Additionally, this position is eligible for a driving bonus at the end of the harvest season.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivery, distribution, safety, & reporting of agronomy & grain products. Loads are to & from farms or another elevator
- Observe and follow all DOT, OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations
- Work efficiently and effectively, good attendance
- Willingness to perform other duties within the operations
Requirements:
Must have Class A CDL - prefer Tanker Endorsement
Current Health Card
Ability to pass drug & alcohol testing
Must have good driving record
Ability to trouble shoot and maintain equipment per DOT regulation
Ability to load and unload and tarp hoppers
Able to climb ladders
Able to use shovel and broom
Ability to lift up to 50lbs as needed
Ability to read & fill out trip reports & maps
Work Schedule:
These seasonal positions will start mid to late September and continue until late November, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Full-time: Extended seasonal hours include nights and weekends.
Part-time: A flexible schedule is available.
