Job Summary
The team at Westerly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their automotive service needs while ensuring a high level of satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple tasks at the same time, be willing to learn, and have a positive attitude. *NO WEEKEND SHIFTS* - Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.
- Document and verify customer information and vehicle details upon arrival
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs, including oil changes, routine maintenance services, automotive diagnosis results, and repair estimates.
- Schedule appointments and manage the workflow in the service department.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and cash handling transactions.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining quality standards.
- Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- 2 years experience in the automotive industry at a dealership level in a service or parts department required
- Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand some technical information related to automotive systems.
- Familiarity with automotive service management software is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey basic technical information clearly to customers.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
