Clinician - CCBHC

Overview

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is an award-winning, non-profit, nonsectarian human services organization founded in 1943. Today, it is the largest provider of licensed outpatient community behavioral health services and one of the largest human service agencies in Westchester County. WJCS delivers innovative programs and services and compassionate care to more than 20,000 people of all ages and backgrounds each year throughout the county.

We are seeking a full-time (35 hours per week) Clinician to join our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) team in Hartsdale. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to community members with psychiatric diagnoses, delivering care in a licensed outpatient mental health facility. This position currently operate under a hybrid model based on Clinic needs. The salary range is $60,000-$75,000, determined by licensure, plus a $5,000 differential for bilingual fluency (English/Spanish). Additionally, there are supplemental income opportunities.

Responsibilities

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessment and develop written treatment plan with the client (collaborative documentation) in compliance with OMH regulations.
• Provide appropriate clinical documentation and agency reports (e.g. clinician’s schedule, treatment plans) in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Provide treatment in evidence-based modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy.
• Attend agency in-service training and staff meetings.
• Provide late night coverage as required.
• File timely insurance claim forms and maintain other necessary contacts with insurance companies.
• Consult with other members of the team, as necessary.
  
  

Requirements

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited school.
• Possession of New York State licensure (LMFT, LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW); LCSW strongly preferred.
• Familiarity and experience with evidenced-based treatments, knowledge of modern principles of social work, prior experience with children, community mental health, and/or co-occurring disorders.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Ability to provide late night coverage as required - generally twice per week.
