POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:WGI Customs is seeking a skilled and motivated Shop Drafter to join our team. As a Shop Drafter, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately creating fully dimensioned shop drawings for ultra high end custom projects. The shop drawings will have client specifications that will be used as a guide for both fabrication and installation. In addition, you may be tasked with proposing design solutions based on given criteria. You will work closely with the Project Managers to ensure the creation of comprehensive documentation, including 3D illustrations of the custom merchandise. Key Responsibilities:Knowledge of Drafting architectural plans, sections, elevations, and details in CAD softwarePrepare permit drawing sets for submittal to fabricationTranslate redlines, sketches, and markups into clear and accurate fabrication documentsMaintain office drafting standards, templates, and file organizationCoordinate with project managers and designers to ensure drawings align with project goals Competencies:Proficient in CAD software or other design graphics or illustration softwareExcellent attention to detailStrong problem-solving and critical thinking abilitiesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenWork in a collaborative team settingDesire to turn imagination into reality! Software Experience Preferred:Microsoft Office, Outlook, CAD software (various) Job Type:Full Time (40 hours) Compensation is based on experience
