ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring Seasonal Stewards to join our Beach Club Culinary Team. This position is responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness of kitchen and kitchen equipment while following strict sanitation procedures.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
This position is responsible for:
- Performing heavy cleaning of kitchen area
- Washing dishes and pots
- The removal and disposal of trash
- Transporting dishes and supplies
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Maintaining proper Sanitary and safety procedures
- Performing proper procedures in operating, cleaning and changing chemicals in the dishwashing machines.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- A minimum of 6 months Kitchen Stewarding experience or position related to food services in a fast paced and busy hospitality environment, preferred.
- We will train the candidate if you have no previous experience in the position.
- Work schedule: must be able to work weekends, late nights, holidays and AM or PM Shifts, as needed.
- Available to work flexible shifts and extended hours when needed.
- Must be able to communicate & interact professionally with Members & employees in basic English language.
- Able to move quickly and multi-task in a fast paced, high stress / pressure environment Heat and Action)
- Have the ability to push and maneuver large loads up to 100 Lbs. on carts.
- Frequent standing for extended periods of time.
- Frequent Walking to collect or deliver goods in various kitchens and/or reception areas (buffet set ups).
- Regular Lifting up to 50 Lbs.
- Regular use of kitchen cleaning products and household chemicals.
- Must be able to tolerate loud noise, heat and steam from the dishwashing machines
- Must be able to bend and reach from floor to 6 feet.
PAY RANGE
$17.00 hourly compensation
