What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) position at Westbrook Health Services, Inc?
**Full Remote and Hybrid Options Available**
· Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
· Prescribe and manage psychiatric and addiction medications, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) such as buprenorphine or naltrexone, in accordance with clinical guidelines and legal requirements.
· Monitor clinical response to treatment and adjust medications or care plans accordingly.
· Provide psychoeducation and supportive counseling to clients and families regarding diagnosis, medication, recovery, and wellness strategies.
· Collaborate closely with therapists, care coordinators, and other staff to develop integrated, individualized treatment plans.
· Participate in clinical team meetings, case reviews, and organizational quality improvement initiatives.
· Accurately document all clinical services in the electronic health record (EHR) in a timely manner.
· Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) to support urgent psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and consultation needs after hours or on weekends. (additional compensation)
· Coordinate referrals and ongoing treatment for CSU discharges, when applicable.
· Comply with federal, state and company policies, procedures and regulations
· Maintain confidentiality of all information and comply with HIPAA regulations.
