The Residential Clinical Manager supports the Residential Clinical Director in overseeing the daily operations and goals of the residential program. The Residential Clinical Manager plays a vital role in supporting staff, enhancing workflow & efficiencies, while also adhering to federal & state regulations and internal policies. The residential program provides assistance to individuals to maximize their recovery, ensure consumer-directed goal setting, assist the individual & families served to gain hope and a sense of empowerment, and provide assistance in helping the individuals served become respected and valued members of their family and community.
Reports to: Residential Clinical Director
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes and acts as a role model for clinical employees in embracing the WestBridge model of care & culture of being flexible, mobile & responsive.
- Promotes and upholds the clinical philosophy and organizational mission in all WestBridge levels of care. This includes training for staff to understand and adhere to the clinical model of care and applicable policies and procedures.
- Collaborates closely with Residential Clinical Director to support new or ongoing clinical initiatives, quality assurance and improvement projects, and to ensure that services provided meet standards of care.
- Supports Residential Clinical Director in clinically and administratively guiding team meetings 5 days a week & 1:1 meetings/supervisions, fostering an environment of team empowerment, problem solving and planning.
- Monitors participant treatment provision by the clinical teams per Participant Achievement Agendas (treatment plans). Works collaboratively with the teams to design, implement, and revise clinical intervention strategies based on the stage of change for participants in all levels of care including through transition processes.
- Works with the Residential Clinical Director to approve PTO requests and to review timesheets, ensuring appropriate coverage of the program 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Provides weekly administrative and clinical supervision within the scope of practice to residential staff.
- Ensures orientation, training, and clinical supervision is provided and staff evaluations are completed per WestBridge policy.
- In collaboration with the Residential Clinical Director, monitors the timely implementation and documentation of services.
- In collaboration with admissions team & Residential Clinical Director, evaluates, prioritizes, and plans for admissions based on the acuity of symptoms and social/rehabilitative needs.
- Support Residential Clinical Director in reviewing documentation to improve quality and consistency, including but not limited to notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries, etc.
- Participates in organizational on-call rotation.
Requirements:
- Knowledge obtained through completing a Master’s degree curriculum in appropriate discipline from accredited institutions, with an independent licensure in respective discipline (i.e. LCMHC, LICSW or a licensed psychologist). Holding an additional license of MLADC is a plus.
- Skill and experience of at least 1-2 years in supervising a team, preferably a modified therapeutic community.
- Knowledge of state and federal rules and regulations governing confidentiality.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal program administration regulations.
- Demonstrates a high standard of professional conduct and ethical behavior that will enhance the quality of care and encourage positive interactions among staff.
- Must have an appropriate motor vehicle, valid driver’s license, and appropriate vehicle insurance.
- Strong leadership skills including adaptability, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills to address challenges and streamline processes.
- Demonstrates a high standard of professional conduct and ethical behavior that will enhance the quality of care and encourage positive interactions among staff.
