Our professionals provide complete water engineering, science, and technology services from our twelve offices in California, Oregon, Arizona, and Washington - bringing innovative and collaborative approaches to deliver higher value projects and programs.
We are the largest engineering firm located solely on the West Coast, providing services only to the water sector. Our staff includes certified or registered professionals in civil, mechanical, chemical, and electrical engineering; water and wastewater treatment planning and design; geology, engineering geology, and hydrogeology; architecture; GIS; land surveying; control system cybersecurity; and construction management and inspection services.
Basic Job Function
Schedule onsite recycled water inspections and provide general administrative support (including some light client invoicing tasks) and office coordination.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities
- Schedule site inspections for Water District customers. Scheduling entails contacting others through phone, text and email, researching information, and populating outlook calendars.
- Maintain detailed logs of all calls made.
- Provide weekly and monthly updates on inspections performed to the Water District.
- Prepare monthly client invoicing – Excel prepared invoice coversheets.
- Prepare some simple monthly project reporting.
- Providing quality assurance/quality control of all draft and final documents.
- Act as front desk receptionist to greet all visitors, internal and external, professionally.
- Delivery of work products to clients and other area offices.
- Assisting in maintaining a pleasant and orderly office environment by ordering, supplies and stocking and maintaining the kitchen and common areas of the office.
Qualifications
Preferred Education and/or Experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong telephone presence
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong follow up skills
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Spoken Spanish fluency not required, but desired
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to set and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating a consistent commitment and ability to work with diverse work groups and individuals
